Who we are
Innovation Central Adelaide (ICA) develops solutions to solve real business problems through a collaborative community in electronic, communications, network and software engineering, computer and data science. Working closely with the Digital Health Design Lab (DHCL) and Flinders Factory of the Future, ICA has capability across advanced ICT, including in Digital Health, Advanced Manufacturing, Digitised Business Processes, Energy and Resources, Sustainability, Transport, and Defence. ICA is one of six anchors to the National Industry Innovation Network (NIIN), a Cisco-led industry and university alliance aimed at solving industry challenges through the adoption of technology solutions and forms part of a global network of Innovation Central Centres.
How we work
ICA provides a platform, space, technology, and expertise to accelerate adoption of advanced digital technologies, and to leverage their capacity to drive productive insights. We serve as a hub for connection with the research, development, and innovation capacity of Flinders University, a leading R&D institution. We do this by partnering with business, government, and public services on innovation challenges, providing a technology sandpit for new designs, better processes, and actionable insights. We deliver thought leadership via a series of events and downloadable resources, and we engage with communities of expertise through issues-based roundtables and research participation.
