The WADSIH Data and AI Conference
On the 2nd and 3rd of August, ICP had the opportunity to exhibit at the 2023 Data & AI for Business Conference, hosted by WA Data Science Innovation Hub (WADSIH).
The conference created a welcoming atmosphere for attendees and provided valuable insight into the fascinating industry of AI, exploring its role across a vast number of industries and sectors. These insights were provided by a range of distinguished professionals and experts throughout the conference held at The Westin Perth.
Among the esteemed speakers, ICP Director Andrew Bell and our Lead Data Scientist Nick Ettlinger presented their valuable expertise. They explored ways that industry can navigate the internship space, and discussed key strategies in data science recruitment to address the growing “war for talent”.
ICP is proud to have been a part of this incredibly successful and spirited event. Congratulations to Alex Jenkins and the entire WADSIH team for advocating the role of Data Science and AI in Western Australia.
Partnering with AARP
Throughout the year, ICP have been excited to collaborate with the Australian Automation and Robotics Precinct (AARP).
The collaboration continues to highlight our combined vision of supporting research and testing within WA’s growing innovation ecosystem. It has been a great benefit to be able to provide our members with the opportunity to utilise the AARP testing space for prototyping and development.
ICP also partnered with CORE Innovation Hub and DevelopmentWA to deliver the ‘Innovate with AARP’ event in July, which encouraged industry partners, academics and AARP collaborators to network while providing insight into the growing opportunities at the precinct.
We can’t wait to see the collaboration continue to strengthen as the precinct grows and look forwards to bringing our summer projects to the AARP!
