This project aimed to develop a prototype that can detect minor waterpipe leaks, alerting homeowners when water is being lost. Small leaks often go undetected, despite costing homeowners valuable money and resources – hence the importance of detecting leakages early.

A successful prototype was developed, able to recognise small leaks in a water piping system.

A dashboard is being considered for visualisation of the data, in order to alert homeowners of potential leaks. The dashboard will be clearly interpretable and therefore simplify the process of action.
