The purpose of the project was to research, design, and implement software for an automated method to track the registration of AiRISTA duress tags for hospital staff.

Approach

The ICP Summer Intern set up a tablet near the tags’ charger with a web app that lets staff record their information, including which tag they are using. The tags will automatically notify staff when they should be returned.

Outcome

Staff are now able to record the respective tags that they are using, and hospital admin will be able to contact tag users who have forgotten to return them.
