Innovation Central Brisbane (ICB) is a hub for technology leaders to connect, discuss and tackle wicked problems. It is a place where ideas can be shared, incubated, and brought to life. For instance, earlier this week real estate design and technology leaders gathered at ICB to discuss ways to reduce energy consumption in the workplace as, shockingly, 75% of commercial buildings are currently energy inefficient.
Organised by Cisco and hosted by ICB, this client demonstration day, held in September 2023, brought together experts, Bob Cicero from Cisco; Michael Przytula from Accenture; Tom Krizmanic from Gensler; and leading technologist, Lara Wood who each discussed the best strategies for designing the workplace of the future – workplaces that better support employees, drive business outcomes and help to protect the planet. This event also showcased some of the digital innovation Cisco and other organisations has achieved in approaching space design with an energy-efficient mindset.
