BSB105 students treated to a special guest lecture
In early October, Cisco’s Global Sports, Entertainment and Media Experts, Manny Spanoundakis and Nick Ritsinias delivered the guest lecture on global sports tech opportunities for BSB105 Future Enterprise along with lecturer, A/Prof Paula Dootson. This semester’s industry partner is Stadiums Queensland and the students’ exciting challenge is “How might we reimagine the fan experience in major sport and entertainment events in Queensland over the next 10 years exploring immersive, VR and accessibility?”
Manny and Nick contributed to the classroom learning and inspiration by showcasing some of the sports tech activity already happening across the globe as well as right here in Australia, following the recent FIFAWWC.
